Description
The BEBAT environmental fee for energy-storage batteries with a weight = 200 kg that are connected to a decentralised energy production installation for electricity, regardless of where they are installed. Those are thus the familiar æhome batteriesÆ based on lithium-ion or salt water. Solar batteries that have the primary function of back-up purposes, called UPS solar batteries, are not included in that.
The environmental fee is calculated per kg. To determine the weight of the solar battery you take the weight of the solar battery/module on which the serial number is shown, including housing if there is one.? The solar inverter and BMS (Battery Management System) must only be counted if they are integrated into the housing.
