Description
The Smappee MID-meter is an accurate, multifunctional kWh meter for multiple phases that is calibrated according to MID standards. The device measures and visualises features of both single and triple loads, with a range of up to 100 A. These measurements are suitable for official energy recordings and are used for invoicing purposes.
The Smappee MID-meter is an integral part of the Smappee ecosystem. It communicates via Modbus RTU (RS-485) with the Smappee Connect. As a result, you not only have direct access to the data, you can also see the data in the Smappee App, via the Online Dashboard or in another system via API integration.
MID stands for the Measurement Instrument Directive. This directive concerns bringing to market and using measuring instruments for commercial purposes. It includes requirements for different kinds of measuring devices, including kWh meters, which meet standardised rules for accurate measurements and commercial purposes. This MID meter is B- and D-certified.
