SolarEdge S1000 S-series Power Optimiser with 0.16 m cable
The new S-series Power Optimisers from SolarEdge are developed for even safer installation of PV panels. The SolarEdge S1000 Power Optimiser for commercial installations is connected to each PV panel to make them into smart panels. The Power Optimisers from the new S-series have one long and one short cable. As a result, the connection between the plugs is not in the middle between the Optimisers but close to the Optimiser. As a result, the connection is located behind the panel. This better protects the connection against poor weather conditions. The Power Optimisers also monitor the performance of each panel, and they communicate the performance data to the SolarEdge monitoring platform.
