The SolarEdge SE90K Single Gland 3-phase inverter offers the same benefits as the conventional 3-phase inverters equipped with Synergy Technology, but with an important difference in the configuration of the string inputs. The SolarEdge SE90K has one string input per SESUK-unit, in contrast to the standard four. As a result, up to 70 mm of aluminium or copper wire can be directly connected, which results in a significant reduction in the cabling needed for the string circuit.
For the conversion of three strings to one, the AE02656 Weidmuller PV Combiner box is necessary. That has been developed with SolarEdge.
